This bronze bust of Francis Scott Key is located in a park at the foot of the Key Bridge in Georgetown, Washington, D.C. Authorized by Congress in 1986 and dedicated in 1993, the memorial commemorates Key's authorship of the Star-Spangled Banner. The bust stands on a granite pillar and is a key feature of the park near M and 36th Streets. It is part of the Wisconsin Avenue area's collection of sculptures and is near the Foggy Bottom - GWU Metro Station.
