The Hiawatha Statue (ca. 1873) by Samuel Anderson Robb is a zinc sculpture located at the Forest Glen Annex to Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. Originally carved in wood and sold as a cigar store Indian figure, it was later cast in zinc with many copies made nationwide. The statue reflects Native American themes and is documented in James M. Goode's "Washington Sculpture" under Maryland Suburbs. Copies exist in Schenectady, NY, and Cincinnati, OH.
