Located north of Meridian Hill Park in Washington, D.C., the memorial features a gilded bust of Marconi on a granite pedestal, accompanied by an Art Deco figure symbolizing his scientific achievements. It was erected by popular subscription and presented to the city by the Marconi Memorial Foundation.
