The Pegasus & Bellerophon statue is a bronze sculpture by Jacques Lipchitz created around 1967, depicting the mythological taming of Pegasus by Bellerophon. It was formerly located at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery in Washington, D.C., but is no longer present there. The work was documented in James M. Goode's 1974 book "Outdoor Sculpture" but omitted from his 2008 update. Its former site was near the Gallery Place - Chinatown Metro station.
