Rhode's Tavern was a historic tavern and inn built in 1799 near the Treasury Department in Washington, D.C. It served as the city's first town hall and polling place, an early boarding house for Congress members, and housed important financial institutions and the National Press Club. The building survived the 1814 British burning of Washington but was demolished in 1984 despite preservation efforts. A plaque now marks its former location near F and 15th Streets NW.
