The SAITO, Hirosi memorial is a granite Japanese Pagoda at the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, dedicated in 1940 to honor Japanese Ambassador Hirosi Saito. Ambassador Saito died in Washington, D.C. in 1939, and his remains were returned to Japan aboard the USS Astoria by order of President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The memorial was presented by his family in appreciation of American sympathy and courtesy. It is located near Luce Hall on the Naval Academy grounds.
