The Justice, the Guardian of Liberty tympanum is a marble sculptural relief on the east side of the U.S. Supreme Court building in Washington, D.C. Created by architect Cass Gilbert and sculptor Herman A. MacNeil, it allegorically represents justice protecting liberty.
