The Fallen Angel (61) is a limestone gargoyle sculpture on the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., created by Jay Hall Carpenter, Matthew Girard, and Kurt Kiefer. Located on the southwest tower at the roof level, it is part of the Cathedral's extensive collection of 112 gargoyles and grotesques. The sculpture embodies religious and mythological themes consistent with Gothic architectural tradition.
