The Sage Owl gargoyle is a limestone sculpture located on the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., created by Frederick E. Hart and an unknown artist. It is situated on the north nave bay 5 triforium level west side, near Massachusetts and Wisconsin Avenues NW. This gargoyle is part of the Cathedral's extensive collection of 112 gargoyles, many depicting animals and mythical creatures.
